THINK OF A GOOD NAME

One that is going to show you are a local company, but one that is also scalable to other markets.

 WORK ON A GOOD BRAND

Or at least hire someone to do that for you. You will be stuck with what you pick at a minimum for the next several years because you’ll be running a business and you will not have time to revisit this. 
 
HIRE A GOOD WEBSITE DESIGNER

You want to be able to funnel leads. And no, you probably aren’t good enough to do it yourself. Get out of that mindset. You are an owner now. Spending days/weeks working on a website is an ineffective use of your time and will cost you more than it will save you. 
 
Same for social media. People need to be able to find you, get a feeling for who you are as a company, and communicate with you. 
 
HIRE AN ACCOUNTANT

They pay for themselves. You will need to spend your time working on your business each day. Both your business loose and your accounting goes to shit if you try to do it yourself late at night because “you’re a business owner and this is what it takes.”
 
HIRE A GOOD LAWYER

Someone who can set your business up properly and review your paperwork. Also someone who is willing to help you with the problems you will face. Filing liens and defending yourself from lawsuits and thieves. 
 
Decide what kind of business you will be and develop a model around it. The model should start with some sort of funnel system to get your business in front of customers, a closing system where customers purchase your services, and a production system that offers a seamless experience, a collection system that doesn’t allow money to escape and cash flow is always strong. 
 
DEVELOP BACK END SUPPORT

Support that will make sure all of those systems work and function. Pay bills, answer calls/emails/messages. Workflow. 
 
Each one of these topics need to have some sort of existence on day one of operations. They may be in their infant stages but it needs to happen immediately. 

Each one of these topics could be a book itself.
